A tense encounter between two strangers at a cemetery slowly becomes something neither expected.
After arriving at an imposing cemetery, 25-year-old Ava searches the grounds for someone, or something. An earnest attempt by local groundsman Travis to offer terrain guidance is met with disdain, but following a not-quite reconciliation, the two strangers share a drink and a smoke on a nearby bench.
Nervous energy gives way to blossoming chemistry as the conversation turns towards loss and faith. Another olive branch extended by Travis is initially rebuffed, before an impromptu tour of the grounds and spontaneous childhood tale crack Ava’s defenses.
To her astonishment, Travis offers insight that Ava never imagined.

Noah Schoenberg, Writer & Director
Noah Schoenberg is a Supreme Court Justice.
While his clerks are hard at work, Noah pursues creative projects. He wrote, directed, and produced his debut short film, Nobody, and executive produced and hosted a comedy and theatre showcase at Philadelphia’s Arden Theatre. His plays have received staged readings at venues including the Fulton Theatre and the Weitzman Museum.
Noah also publishes Noah’s Culture Quarterly (NCQ), a newsletter featuring entertainment recommendations, updates on his work, and the occasional local artist. By day, Noah works in nonprofit development to support his family while building his creative career. Last year, Time named him the 6,500,870,231st most influential person in entertainment. His wife and son were overjoyed.
Blake Eichenseer, Director of Photography
Blake Eichenseer is an award-winning Director of Photography and Photographer based in Philadelphia. With over two decades of experience crafting narrative, commercial, and documentary content, Blake’s work has been showcased worldwide in theaters, museums, and major cultural institutions, including the World Chess Hall of Fame, the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, and the Smithsonian.
Blake has lensed work for over 70 Fortune 500 companies and filmed across four continents in environments ranging from Atlantic offshore oil rigs and the secluded rainforests of Equatorial Guinea to major international hubs like London, Tokyo, and New Delhi.
Pat Taggart, Producer and Editor
Pat Taggart has been involved in the film industry for a quarter century (yikes). After writing and directing the narrative feature, 99 Percent Sure in 2009, Taggart shifted his focus to documentary film. His feature doc, Billboard Boys, is currently under option for narrative adaptation, and his most recent feature doc, No One Died, chronicles Philadelphia's infamous Wing Bowl. Taggart, who proudly served as a producer and editor of Nobody, Noah Schoenberg's directorial debut, lives in the suburbs of Philadelphia with his wife, Courtney, and two kids, Skylar and Cameron.
Julia Sims, "Ava"
Julia Sims is a Philadelphia-based actor who's drawn to heartfelt, character-driven stories. She works mostly in film and commercials, with a degree in Theatre (acting program) from Temple University. Outside of acting, she's also a teaching artist and a social media manager. The throughline of her work centers around fostering empathy and meaningful connections through storytelling and escapism.
Frank Jimenez, "Travis"
Frank Jimenez (he/him) is a bilingual Barrymore nominated actor based in Philadelphia. Frank has gathered years of training in Theatre and Film work. Originally from New Jersey, he traveled to Los Angeles to fine tune his craft and completed his training in Philadelphia, PA. He graduated with a BFA at The University of The Arts and works in the theatres in Philadelphia, recently being nominated for The Princess Grace Award.
Recent stage credits include, Romeo and Juliet( Arden Theatre) Our Town ( New Light Theatre), Moreno (Interact Theatre), Children of the Sun (Philadelphia Artists Collective), the world premiere of Overwinter (Barrymore Award Nominated for Outstanding Supporting Performance in a play; Azuka Theatre)
